Behavioral Health Coach

The treatment Annum provides is personalized to each participant, who will have a support team composed of a behavioral health coach, a therapist and a physician -- all of whom share a passion for helping people improve their own lives. The coach plays an integral role in a participant’s care by partnering with the participant on his or her journey. The coach enhances motivation and compliance with the participant’s treatment plan and acts as the coordinator of care throughout the treatment. Using Annum’s technology platform to proactively and efficiently communicate with multiple participants across various channels (text, chat and phone), the coach offers critically important support directly to people “in the moment” as they work to reach their therapeutic goals. A positive, empathetic and nonjudgmental approach are natural-born traits of the coach, who takes personal responsibility for being each Annum participant’s go-to ally on their journey toward a happier and more fulfilling life.    

 

 
 
 

Responsibilities

  • Conducting phone intakes with prospective participants to assess appropriateness for care
  • Provide motivational support, education and consultation to participants via in-app text
  • Act as the coordinator of care for a small multi-disciplinary team, interacting with both therapists and physicians to coordinate and improve quality of care
  • Reinforce the participants’ engagement with evidence-based (cognitive behavioral therapy or “CBT”) treatment by providing support with CBT-based homework and surveys and encouraging compliance
  • Identify crisis situations and redirect to appropriate avenues
  • Improving population health outcomes by ensuring all participants have access to behavioral health expertise

 
 

Qualifications

  • Masters’ degree or equivalent, but not licensed in the field of counseling/therapy, psychology or social work
  • Experience in an integrated medical setting
  • Familiarity with motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy and/or acceptance and commitment therapy
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy while remaining steadfast with protocols
  • Possesses an exceptional capacity to multitask, while remaining detail-oriented and organized
  • Comfortable working with an interdisciplinary team
  • Strong communication and teaching skills, including a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with people regarding sensitive subject matter

Call Quality Supervisor

Annum’s Engagement Center Call Quality Supervisor will monitor Engagement Specialist calls and provide feedback, guidance and motivation to ensure the highest quality of engagement is attained. The Supervisor maintains recordkeeping of monitored calls and prepares and delivers weekly reports. The Supervisor identifies trends and makes recommendations for training opportunities, assisting with content development and facilitation and works closely with internal partners to ensure Specialist tools are current and emerging information is captured. Mission-driven with a heightened degree of empathy and sensitivity, the Supervisor, working closely with the Senior Engagement Center Director, helps drive the success of the Engagement Center with the highest level of energy, positivity, sincerity and support. The Supervisor will start their tenure alongside the Specialists in training and initial outreach.

  • Monitors Engagement Specialists’ calls, providing feedback in a timely manner
  • Prepares daily/weekly/monthly progress reports for Engagement Specialists and management team
  • Acts as a team subject matter expert and provides team support in absence of Engagement Center Director

  • Assists with Engagement Specialist onboarding training as well as weekly/monthly training

  • Minimum Associates Degree, BA preferred

Digital Strategy Lead

The Digital Strategy Lead reports to the Head of Communications and Marketing to translate marketing and business development objectives into overall digital strategies. Responsibilities include ongoing maintenance of and building new features for Annum’s primary website, email marketing and social media properties; the creation of new content; identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and optimizing Annum’s digital presence against them.

  • Identifies and designs Annum’s strategic short and long term digital media goals.
  • Verifies that digital initiatives (website, social media, email) deliver against approved strategic direction and KPIs.
  •  Performs quality assurance (QA) testing and implements necessary content improvements.
  • Works across Annum teams on feature roadmaps and detailed business requirements for future website redesign effort.
  •  Determines content development strategy based on analytics and new business needs.
  •  Sets project timelines for content needs (images, copy, video). Works cross-departmentally and/or with freelancers/consultants to project manage content development.
  •  Ensures content adheres to industry best practices, search engine optimization (SEO) and Annum style guidelines.
  •  Collaborates cross-departmentally to optimize website(s) and oversee Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
  •  Works efficiently to create and edit content, choose appropriate modules for content display, and lay out content that complies with email/website designs and best practices for user experience (UX).
  •  Develops testing plans for content development projects, and leads the testing activities, and associated communication, with cross-functional teams.
  •  Communicates best practices, website performance, new website features, and the status of ongoing project work throughout the organization.

Engagement Specialist

Annum’s Engagement Specialists are at the heart of our organization.  The Specialists reach out to engage, inform and ultimately provide a pathway to those in need of help.  Mission-driven with a heightened degree of empathy and sensitivity, the Specialists make outbound calls to educate, assess suitability and schedule individuals for assessment appointments for an Annum treatment program. The Specialists will work in a call center (Engagement Center) environment, with performance expectations around productivity and efficiency.   • Conducts outbound calls to prospective participants and engages them in a discussion around program benefits and enrollment
  • Adheres to established conversation guidelines to engage, connect, and educate prospective participants about program options and benefits

  • Handles participant questions and objections

Physician

The physician plays an invaluable role in a participant’s care by determining the individual’s fitness for the medical component of Annum’s comprehensive, evidence-based treatment model. Using Annum’s HIPAA-compliant technology platform, the physician evaluates individuals, determines the required level of care as they work to reach their therapeutic goals, prescribes medication as required and advises on clinically-appropriate follow-up care and referrals.
