Michael B. Laskoff
Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Michael is an expert healthcare innovator and experienced entrepreneur. Prior to co-founding Annum Health in 2016 to meet the urgent health and economic need for a scalable, evidence-based treatment for heavy drinking, Michael founded AbleTo. Now a recognized telehealth leader, AbleTo uses behavioral change to reduce medical expense and improve health outcomes. As CEO, Michael raised three rounds of venture funding and secured health plan partnerships to cover over 30 million people.
Michael currently serves on the board of Wellth and he served on the board of Visiting Nurse Service of New York from 2008-2014. He holds an MBA from Harvard University and a BA in political science from University of Chicago.
Lauren WolfE, PSYD
CO-Founder and Chief Clinical Officer
Dr. Wolfe is a licensed clinical psychologist, a certified tobacco treatment specialist and the associate training director of the Health Psychology Program at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. Her keen interest in leveraging technology to improve upon and scale evidence-based treatments for heavy drinking and smoking is informed by a career that has spanned both the health and tech sectors. Dr. Wolfe was trained at the Veterans Health Administration (VA) focusing on addiction treatment and earlier in her career was the director of strategic accounts at Tanium, a global leader in cybersecurity.
Dr. Wolfe graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Stanford University and earned a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Palo Alto University – Stanford PsyD Consortium.
Mark Willenbring, MD
Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Willenbring is a psychiatrist who has been pioneering new ways to treat alcohol and drug use disorders for over 35 years. While leading the Division of Treatment and Recovery Research at the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism at the National Institutes of Health from 2004-2009, Dr. Willenbring was responsible for overseeing research on alcohol use disorder at universities around the United States. Respected as a master clinician, a visionary, and a scientist, Dr. Willenbring frequently offers guidance on the national and international stage regarding the interpretation and implementation of new scientific findings related to addiction treatment.
Dr. Willenbring earned his BA and MD from the University of Minnesota, and completed an internship and residency at St. Paul-Ramsey Medical Center and the University of California Davis, respectively.
Chief People Officer
Sandy is a key business partner to Annum’s CEO and each department head, with a focus on strategic direction and organizational design. Her ability to cultivate innovative, experienced individuals across a wide range of disciplines is at the core of Annum’s success. By focusing on the development of Annum’s culture and value creation, Sandy will create real change in our customers' lives. Sandy has had more than 20 years of professional success within highly complex, global companies including Sanofi, Merck, Prudential, Staples and, most recently, Combs Enterprises.
Sandy earned a BA from the College of New Jersey.
Chief Technology Officer
With more than two decades of experience in the hardware and software industries, as well as big data, Paul leverages state-of-the-art technology to realize Annum’s scalable, tech-enabled treatment program for heavy drinking. Paul’s varied engineering and managerial experience includes building and leading Salesforce's next generation cloud infrastructure, managing all of Google's non-US hardware operations, network and procurement at Two Sigma, and serving as vice president for various data centers.
Paul earned his bachelor’s in electrical and electronics engineering at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow.
Senior Vice President, Business Development
Debbie’s leadership of Annum’s sales and business development division is informed by nearly three decades of experience in sales, marketing and data analytics at some of the leading health insurers in the United States. Debbie has held several senior positions at Aetna, including Vice President of Business Development for the national accounts division. Debbie managed some of Aetna’s most important customers, including Costco Wholesale and Amazon. Before Aetna, Debbie spent nearly 10 years at Regence BlueShield.
Debbie earned a BA in math and economics at Western Washington University.
Head of Communications and Marketing
Amanda brings a passion for helping improve people’s health care access and outcomes to her work leading Annum’s communications and marketing initiatives. Having previously served as director of health communications and assistant director of state policy media at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, as well as the media lead for Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin, Amanda possesses more than a decade of experience in health care communications and advocacy.
Amanda earned her bachelor's degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison and has received a number of awards for her influential work to advance women’s health.
